Close Range: Wyoming Stories Annie Proulx

I love Wyoming and can't imagine a better setting for Glass Girl and Perfect Glass. Annie Proulx's Close Range: Wyoming Stories is one of my favorite collections of short stories. Proulx, who now lives in my home state of Wyoming, wrote several collections of short stories: Close Range: Wyoming Stories, Bad Dirt: Wyoming Stories 2, and Fine Just the Way It Is: Wyoming Stories 3. After the novel Accordion Crimes (1996), Proulx, who had moved to Wyoming in 1995, turned to the American West as the setting and motif for three volumes of stories, Close Range (1999), Bad Dirt (2004), and Fine Just the Way It Is (2008).
